How did Vedia come to fruition? The conceptualization of Vedia originated when I encountered data processing and analytics difficulties in dealing with an extremely large and unstructured dataset during my Ph.D. dissertation. In order to document these issues, I wrote a case for Sage Publication Inc., highlighting the obstacles I encountered with this dataset and the lessons I learned. I knew that a user-friendly and self-serving tool to speed up the analytical part of my doctoral dissertation was what I needed, but where could I find this illusory instrument? As my career in academia and years of industry-related fieldwork in big data and analytics progressed, I realized that my source of frustration was not mine alone, but a source of contention throughout the industry. And thus, my mission to provide an easy-to-use data analytics platform that can handle large, unstructured datasets began. After years of research combined with real-world applications,  Vedia Cloud Analytics  was created as the interconnection between optimal data analytics and corresponding corporate decision-making.
